Samsung Galaxy S11 To Sport 108MP Camera And 8K video Support

Samsung Galaxy S11 has been under the discussions for long now, according to various leaks and rumors the device is likely to carry a 108MP camera lens along with 8K video support. Well so far it has been considered as a leak or rumor but recently XDA editor Max Winebach posted an article on the site with strong confirmation that Samsung is going to add 108MP camera and 8K video recording support in the new Galaxy S11 series.

The website has posted the images of camera application strings which was found on One UI 2.0 Beta 4. According to the code, Samsung will support 8K video recording, Exynos 990 processor which will support both 8K 30fps video and 4K 120fps video recording.

Samsung Galaxy S11 series is also expected to come in two variants of the core processor, one is the Exynos 990 and the other one is Snapdragon 865, however, Qualcomm has not announced the new Snapdragon 865 processor yet, but the processor would be all set to support 8K 30fps video recording. The post also confirms that the Galaxy S11 screen displays a 20:9 aspect ratio and the camera app clearly mentions that in the code. The new Galaxy S11 series would be announced in MWC 2020 in February next year.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite also spotted earlier on Geekbench a few weeks ago, the phone is a lighter version of Galaxy S10 which is also expected to come soon.
