Samsung is working on the LTE variant of the Galaxy S20 FE which would be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chip. The new variant was first spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance database a few weeks earlier.
The new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE LTE comes with model number SM-G780G. The device would include an MST chip for making payments on traditional magnetic payment terminals.
However, it is unclear if this model will ever get a global release. The Snapdragon-powered LTE variant is expected to release for markets where the 5G model won’t be launched.
