Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Gets a New Design

A couple of days ago, we shared some new leaks about the Galaxy S22 series. Today we are back with more. The new leaks relate to the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

According to the latest renders, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with an S Pen slot and a new design for its main camera setup. The main camera modules will get an all-new water drop camera design around the back, the one we have seen on LG’s Velvet series and Samsung’s Galaxy A32.

In the past, we have seen renders of the same design with a different design. Previously we saw images with a P-shaped main camera. Although many didn’t like the old design, we liked that one too.

In addition to the design leaks, we also heard that this device will weigh 228 grams or just as much as the S21 Ultra. This device will also come in more colorways than its predecessors. The most common color options we heard of include Black, White, and Burgundy Red.

Other specifications we can expect with the Galaxy S22 Ultra include a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout, Samsung’s Exynos 2200 with AMD RDNA 2 GPU, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support. We also expect two variants of the same device. One will come with Samsung’s Exynos 2200 and will be intended for the European market. The other one will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 895 and will be available for the rest of the markets.

Camera-wise, this device will have a quad-camera setup with a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide snapper, a 12MP 3x telephoto, and 12MP 10x periscope lenses. All of these lenses might boast OIS. On the front side, we might get a 40MP front shooter.
