Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Reaches The Geekbench Site Revealing New Details

Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy S22 series in the new year. Users have already received several tips about it ahead of the official announcement and today we receive some more details from one major authentic source.

The top-tier device from the series – the Galaxy S22 Ultra – just landed on the Geekbench listing site. The device appeared with model number SM-S908N and confirmed to bring a Snapdragon chip under the hood clocked at 3.0GHz. This would be the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm.

We already know a lot about this new SoC and are certain that the Ultra model from the Galaxy S22 series is the one with the best-performing parts.

Coming back to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung smartphone appeared with 10GB of RAM, but we know that it will have two more options – 8GB of RAM and 12GB of RAM. The listing site also confirmed that it will run Android 12 with One UI 4.0.

Other details shared by our sources include an S Pen with model number EJ-PS908.

According to some leaks, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup on the back with a 108MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and two 10MP telephoto camera sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom support.

Display-wise, this model will sport a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punched cutout. It is also said to pack a 5000 mAh battery with 45W charging support.

In some regions, the device will come with different specs. The one rumor in the air is that the Ultra Mode for some countries will feature an Exynos chip instead of Qualcomm’s SoC. That could be heart-breaking news for users waiting to use the Galaxy S22 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
