Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag Real Images Surfaced

The actual device images of Samsung’s smart tag device ‘Galaxy SmartTag’ has surfaced on the Internet. Taiwan’s telecom regulator NCC has already released the registration information of this purported Bluetooth-based tracker, and its content confirms that this tracker will indeed be called the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag, and its design will remind people of Tile.

In terms of price and color, the Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag device may be priced at around 15 euros in Europe, available in oatmeal and black colors. Samsung has not announced the launch date of the Galaxy Smart Tag, but there are rumors that this tracker may be unveiled with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series on January 14.

The NCC registration information shows that the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag has a rounded square shape, and a hole is punched in the device to connect a rope or fix it to the strap. The device on the picture may be a prototype because not all pictures have “Galaxy SmartTag” engraved in the ring on the front of the tracker.

The certification did not disclose the specific technical details of the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag, but from previous leaks and rumors, the device may be compatible with Bluetooth v5.1. It is reported that the Galaxy Smart Tag will be compatible with Samsung’s SmartThings Find function and provide similar functions to the Tile tracker. Users can attach the Samsung tracker to any object to understand its whereabouts.
