Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: Leak indicates a small design surprise

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be announced on August 10. And while alleged photos of the foldable smartphone have been leaked several times, there are still some secrets to be revealed. However, a recently published view could provide more clues.

Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets a minor design upgrade

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 can be seen in various folding positions in the exclusive render image from 91Mobiles. The device seems to have noticeably flatter sides on both the top and bottom. In addition, the camera lens probably protrudes further from the back compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The foldable is expected to continue to rely on the old 12 MP sensors.

Better hinge and faster processor

Another important thing that strikes us about the image is the more compact hinge of the device. It has already been suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have an improved folding hinge similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The current leak further confirms this message.

As for other specs, the foldable duo comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and with new color options and storage options. Both could also get a wider screen and the Z Fold 4 could also get an improved camera. The two devices appear with Android 12, but will of course receive the update to Android 13 later. As far as the prices are concerned, it is not clear whether Samsung will increase the prices of the Galaxy foldable this year. On the other hand, Apple is already raising prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max which are expected in September. The Koreans may be following this trend.
