Samsung introduces Galaxy F14 5G with a 5nm SoC

A new mid-range 5G smartphone has just landed in the Indian market. The new mid-range smartphone is introduced by the South Korean tech company i.e., Samsung. Reportedly, Samsung has officially released the Galaxy F14 5G smartphone in India. Well, if we talk about the phone releases of this year by the tech giant then we come to know that Samsung has introduced eleven smartphones so far. Besides this, Galaxy F14 5G is the fifth model that has been unveiled by Samsung this month.

Design and specifications of Galaxy F14 5G

The design of this smartphone is similar to the previous models that have been introduced in 2023. The back panel of the device is curved. It has no camera bumps. The camera island is provided with two cameras and an LED flash unit. The back cameras consist of a 50MP primary shooter with PDAF (phase-detection autofocus) as well as a 2MP macro camera. One thing to notice here is that Galaxy F14 5G lacks OIS (optical image stabilization), which is practical in this segment.

The front side of the smartphone is provided with a V-shaped notched display and a 13MP selfie camera. The display measures 6.6 inches. It has an IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The device is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. The Galaxy F14 5G has the capacity to record 1080p (Full HD) videos at 30fps (frames per second) with front and rear cameras. Other camera features include panorama and HDR.

The device is fueled by a 5nm Exynos 1330 processor. The phone will arrive in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Besides this, both variants will have support for the RAM Plus feature. Additionally, the smartphone offers 128GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD slot. The smartphone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery. It supports 25W fast charging. Some other key specs of the device are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android 13-based One UI 5.1 Core.

The device will receive two major Android upgrades and four years of security updates from Samsung.

Price and availability

Consumers in India can access the Galaxy F14 5G through Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retailers across the country. It will be available from March 30 onwards.  The smartphone is offered in three different color options i.e., B.A.E Purple, G.O.A.T Green, and O.M.G Black colors. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at ₹14,990 (roughly $180). Whereas the 6GB RAM variant can be purchased for ₹15,990 (roughly $195).
