Samsung introduces the Galaxy S21 FE in India

The South Korean conglomerate Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S21 FE in India. Reportedly, the company has launched the Snapdragon 888 version of the smartphone. A few days back the company featured the teaser of the upcoming smartphone. It was even available for sale before the official launch. Last year, the company launched the Exynos 2100 variant of the Galaxy S21 FE in India. Back then, the Snapdragon 888 version was limited to the US region.

The official website of the company doesn’t include the Exynos 2100 version of the Galaxy S21 FE in India. It means that the company has stopped its sales in the country. It might be available in some stores until the stock ends.

Price of the Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 variant

Users can purchase the Galaxy S21 FE (SM-G990B4) from the Samsung India website as well as from other authorized retailers. It can be purchased for INR 49,999 (around $606). The company is even offering a cashback offer of INR 5,000 in case a consumer makes a purchase via an HDFC Bank card. In comparison, the prices of the Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 variants prices are quite different from one another. Furthermore, at much lower prices, other companies offer smartphones with updated processors like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Features of the Galaxy S21 FE

As we already know that the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The display of the Galaxy S21 FE is a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. it offers a refresh rate of 120Hz.  Reportedly, the smartphone is available in five different colors i.e., Navy, Olive, Graphite, Lavender, and White.

The camera island of the smartphone consists of a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It features a 32MP selfie camera. All the cameras of the smartphone support recording 4K 60fps videos. it includes a 4,500mAh battery. It supports 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Furthermore, it also includes reverse wireless charging. Other features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader, an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
