Samsung is going to introduce astrophotography feature to more Galaxy smartphones
Samsung is making rapid improvements to the features it introduces with its high-end smartphones. just recently, the South Korean conglomerate introduced the Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy S23 series comprises of three smartphones i.e., Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company introduced the Galaxy S23 series with some advanced features as well as several improvements. However, some reports indicate that some of the astrophotography features have not been introduced with the new flagship smartphones.
Previously, the company introduced the astrophotography feature on the Galaxy S22 series. The astrophotography feature enables capturing images of stars and sky using long exposure times. Such a feature is supported by the Samsung’s Expert RAW app. For the Galaxy S23 series, the company introduced the option to capture astro hyperlapses.
Samsung has introduced the One UI 5.1 updates. These updates have started rolling out. Given these updates, it was anticipated that the dedicated features will be introduced to other Samsung devices. But sadly, this was not the case. However, there is some hope that in the future these features could arrive on more Galaxy smartphones.
Some reports indicate that the company is working on introducing the updates to the flagships introduced in the last three years. It will also include the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Reportedly, these updates will introduce the Expert RAW app’s astrophotography mode to more users. Besides this, the astro hyperlapse feature could be just limited to the pre-Galaxy S23 flagships. Well, this is what the recent pieces of information suggests.
