Samsung is now resolving the camera issue found in the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra

Samsung is now rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra in the US. This update comes with some fixes and the latest security patch.

Owners of the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra were facing a camera issue on their respective devices. The issue was widely reported to the company, but no solution was provided until now.

Samsung has finally rolled out a software update fixing some camera lag issues found in the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21. The most recent rollout is for the US users, others to follow.

Devices sold by Verizon and Comcast’s Xfinity Mobile are the first ones in the US claiming to receive this update. Besides fixing the camera lag issues, the company is also rolling out the June 2021 security patch to these Galaxy smartphones.

The software comes with a build number is G99xUSQU4AUF5 and should resolve issues like camera lagging. This update should also optimize Portrait mode and allow you to scan QR codes from the built-in gallery app. it should also provide improved video call effects.

As always, the rollout is happening in phases. If you haven’t received the update, it may take a few days (or weeks) before it comes to you. You could also check for the update by going to Settings > Software update and hit Download and install.
