Samsung is sure that Galaxy laptops will join its ecosystem

The recently held Galaxy Unpacked event by Samsung was somewhat unusual. In addition to the most anticipated and iconic high-end smartphone series i.e., the S series, the tech company unveiled a new laptop series. It looks like the company has some high expectations from the latest series of laptops. Lee Min-Cheol in a recent interview mentioned some intriguing insights about the release of the Galaxy Book 3 at Unpacked 2023.

Currently, the tech company has a relatively small mall market share in the laptop industry. It appears that the company is all set to change that perspective and possibly it has taken the first step with the release of the Galaxy Book 3 series. Users were more inclined towards laptops and such devices during the pandemic. This might have made the company dip its toes in this respective domain. The corporate VP of Samsung’s Mobile Experience division states that once laptops were used as shared family devices. But the COVID-19 pandemic turned them into pure personal computers.

The replacement cycle for laptops has been reduced. Since the sales are expanding. As of 2021, the company only had a 1% market share in the international laptop market. However, the tech firm believes that this narrative is going to change with time. During a press briefing, Lee stated that the company is anticipating a turnaround by the end of this year in this particular category.

The South Korean tech firm assumes that the Book is crucial to the Galaxy series ecosystem. In addition to this, the company stated that it will work on improving the hardware and updating the connectivity features across the devices. The Galaxy Book 3 series includes the Book 3 Pro, the Book 3 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Reportedly, Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is the first and foremost laptop by the company that has the essential Ultra in its name. it includes an RTX 4000-series graphics. All three laptops consist of AMOLED displays. Furthermore, they are fueled by 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs.

Currently, the laptops can be accessed via pre-orders in selected marketplaces. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Pro 360 are expected to arrive by February 17. Whereas the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will be possibly available from February 22. Reportedly, the 360 model carries an S Pen. It has a 360-degree hinge that indicates that the laptop can be utilized as a Windows tablet as well.
