Samsung Launches Galaxy Buds 3 FE: Pro Design at a Lower Price

After some delays, Samsung gave the starting signal for the introduction of the new Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE today. The new in-ear headphones should offer the design of the more expensive Buds 3 Pro in a cheaper package.

Pro design also for the ‘Fan Edition’

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Fe were first seen a few weeks ago when Samsung’s Colombian branch surprisingly presented the headphones on his website. Now the headphones have been presented with an official non -binding retail price of 149 euros.

The design of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which is part of the growing number of “Fan Edition” products from Samsung, is adapted by the Buds 3 Pro. So you have a “stem” and are worn in the ear canal with the help of rubber attachments so that environmental noises are better steamed. With the integrated active noise suppression (ANC), noise around the carrier is also hidden, whereby the intensity of the user in the Galaxy Wearable app can be regulated. However, you shouldn’t expect miracles with the Galaxy Buds3 Fe when it comes to performance.

Because the headphones only have a 53mAh battery, they can be used for up to six hours for music reproduction with activated noise suppression. For telephone calls, up to four hours with activated ANC should be possible. According to a data sheet from the manufacturer, a maximum of 8.5 hours of music playback is possible without ANC. Of course, Galax Buds3 FE can be recharged with the transport case and its built-in battery, since this offers 515mAh capacity. In this way, music playback can be increased to up to 24 (with ANC) or 30 hours (without ANC).

The headphones use a single Dynamic Driver with 11 millimeters in diameter and have three built -in microphones. The control can mostly take place via the touch -sensitive surfaces on the housing. The Galaxy Buds3 FE are certified according to IP54, so only offer protection against coarse dust and splash water, so they are not considered waterproof. The connection to the host device is established in the five grams of light Galaxy Buds 3 Fe via Bluetooth 5.4. They support AAC and SBC and SSC codecs and, in addition to all Android smartphones, can be coupled with the Galaxy Watch Smartwatches.
