Samsung plans to integrate AstroPortrait mode onto their phones

Samsung has offered several new and updated features on its Camera app for the Galaxy smartphones. Few years back, the company introduced its Expert RAW app for professionals and camera enthusiasts. This app is fully packed with advanced features. According to some recent pieces of information, the company could add one new feature to the app in the future.

According to the details shared by Android Authority, Samsung could soon debut the AstroPortrait feature for its Expert RAW app. It will assist users in taking portrait photos of individuals with the night sky, stars, and other celestial objects in the background. The code of the most recent Expert RAW app version was examined in order to dig out this new feature.

According to some code strings of the app, Once the flash has gone off, the user must take a picture of someone in the frame, ask them to step out of the frame, and then take another picture of the night sky without moving the phone. Thus, it is similar to a blend of portrait and astrophotography modes.

The new feature could be rolled out with a future version of the app. Just recently, the company rolled out a new version of the Expert Raw app with the Auto ND Filter. One thing to notice here is that the app is specified for the high-end Galaxy smartphones like the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the latest versions of these smartphones.
