Samsung postpones One UI 6.0 due to bugs

In accordance with some recent pieces of information, the South Korean conglomerate Samsung has postponed the launch of One UI 6.0. A Galaxy user was informed by a customer service representative that the company is delaying the beta program due to bugs. The company has not shared the updated release date or schedule.

With One UI 6.0, Android 14 will be introduced on Samsung smartphones and tablets. For the last few months, the company has been conducting internal testing on the new update. Samsung has not debuted any public beta yet. Some previous reports suggested that by the end of July, the beta program would be extended to the Galaxy S23 series, but it didn’t.

The business kept up with its internal testing while routinely updating test builds on its servers. Throughout this time, we have encountered numerous One UI 6.0 test builds for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Samsung has added support for One UI 6.0 in a few first-party apps. Even the community forum now has a section devoted to One UI 6.0. The beta program was still lacking, though.

According to Samsung support, the One UI 6.0 beta will initiate on August 2

A few days back, the customer support of the company in Germany shared with a user that the current Galaxy flagships will receive One UI 6.0 beta on August 2. Besides this, customer support claimed that the updates will be extended to mid-range smartphones like the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5Gin the following week.

Users have been eagerly waiting for the big update. According to support staff, the company has postponed the One UI 6.0 beta program for now. Reportedly, the beta program contains bugs. Possibly the company will roll out the update once the bugs are fixed.
