Samsung President confirms the location of the upcoming Unpacked event

Previously, we heard some rumors regarding the location of Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event. The rumors indicated that the company could organize the next Unpacked event in the USA or Europe. However, some recent pieces of information suggest that the unveiling event for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Z Flip 5 will be held in South Korea. This information comes from Lee Young-hee, the President of the Samsung DX (Device eXperience) division’s Global Marketing Center. according to him, the event will be hosted in Seoul, South Korea.

The Samsung Ho-Am Award Ceremony was held at the Shilla Hotel earlier today, and Lee Young-hee, who Samsung appointed to the position of President in December, attended this ceremony. She confirmed that the next foldable phones and the Galaxy Watch 6 series will make their debut in South Korea when asked why Samsung will hold the next Unpacked event there. She responded, “Because Korea is meaningful and important,” according to Yonhap News.

Besides this, Lee has not confirmed the exact location of the Unpacked event and neither the date. However, some rumors suggest that the event will be organized at COEX in Gangnam-Gu, Seoul. Similarly, some rumors also indicate that the South Koren tech firm could launch the premium products earlier than usual. It is assumed that the company might reveal the flagship mobiles and wearables on July 26.
