Samsung reduced the price for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 by $448

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 recently readjusted its prices in Korea and reduced the price by $448. Earlier, the company first introduced the mobile in South Korea for a hefty amount of 2.398 million won ($2,122). Now the price is readjusted to 1.892 million won ($1,674).

The good news is that the company has not reduced the price just for a little while, but it intends to keep this price for a much longer period. The new price is expected to gain popularity in the country. It’s also expected that the company might reduce the price for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in other parts of the world.

While Samsung is already into the foldable smartphone market, the company is not the only one rolling out its flagships. Recently, Xiaomi introduced its very own Mi Mix Fold in China. The device comes just for $1,500. This led to another perception that Samsung reduced prices for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to compete with the Mi Mix Fold.

It is also rumored that Samsung is prepping up for a new foldable smartphone – the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which is expected to come with a price tag of $2,000. There’s no evidence of its launch as of now. We would have to wait a little more for further information to roll our way.
