Samsung Releases the New Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon 865 SoC

Samsung has released the new Galaxy S20 FE in Malaysia and Vietnam earlier this week, and now the company is preparing to release it in Germany and Sweden. The release was not very loud, although we heard that this smartphone would be coming into the markets soon.

This a 4G variant and powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset. The device has a model number (SM-G780G). We also know that Samsung is abandoning its Exynos 990 chipset since it merely got its fame.

According to the source, the new Galaxy S20 FE 4G costs RM2,299 (~$560) with 8GB RAM and 128GB  storage in Malaysia, whereas the higher variant with 12GB RAM costs RM1,999 (~$485).

The older model of the Galaxy S20 FE 4G, powered by Exynos 990, comes for €599 in the European market. We expect a similar price for the new device, which would be powered by Snapdragon 865.

About its specifications, everything is expected to remain the same except for the SoC. You could read this quick blog post on the Galaxy S20 FE 4G and 5G with the Snapdragon 865.
