Samsung Responds to One UI 7 Release Rumors

 A community moderator on Samsung’s US forums has addressed recent rumors suggesting that the public release of One UI 7 may not happen until April.

Just a few days ago, reports surfaced claiming that Samsung plans to roll out three more One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series, with one release expected each month through April. However, the moderator clarified that this timeline is purely speculative. According to them, “the number of Beta versions is determined by the need to refine and improve the software based on user feedback—not by a fixed plan.”

For longtime Samsung fans, this isn’t exactly new information. They are well aware that Samsung doesn’t release updates—beta or otherwise—until they are deemed ready for deployment.

What’s surprising, though, is the extended delay in the public rollout of a major One UI update. It’s worth noting that at least one budget Galaxy smartphone is already running One UI 7, albeit without any of the AI features. This raises questions about whether Samsung’s explanation on the matter can be taken at face value.

While it’s encouraging to see Samsung addressing the speculation with a semi-official statement, fans are still eager for action. The only way to truly appease users at this point would be to roll out the One UI 7 update worldwide before the end of the month. Unfortunately, that seems highly unlikely given Samsung’s plans for at least one more beta update for the Galaxy S24 series.
