Samsung is now rolling out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy A20 in Russia. The update also brings the new June 2021 security patch.

Samsung is rolling out the Android 11 update to the Galaxy A20. In the past, it has rolled out the same to many of its flagships. The one coming for this Galaxy A20 comes with version A205FNPUUACUF1 and is for the Russian community.

This update would probably come with One UI 3.1 and bring the June 2021 security patch. The update is expected to bring some improvements, fixes, and a refreshed UI design.

According to a source, this update for the Galaxy A20 would also bring new features such as one-time permissions, auto permissions reset, conversations section in the notifications area, a dedicated media playback widget below quick setting toggles, chat bubbles, and more.

We also expect that this Android 11 update would also feature lock screen widgets, AoD options, redesigned Device Care section, more accessible smart home controls, Auto Switch for Galaxy Buds, improved Digital Wellbeing, and Parental Controls, and more.

For users holding the Galaxy A20 in Russia, the Android 11 update could be downloaded manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. For devices registered in other areas, they might have to wait for a little while.
