Samsung has started rolling out One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy A01. The rollout begins in Russia, with other countries to follow.
This Galaxy smartphone was initially released in 2019 with Android 10. And now is receiving the Android 11 update.
According to sources, the firmware version for this update is A015FXXU4BUD8. It also includes the April 2021 security patch.
This update will bring a new UI design, courtesy of One UI, some Android 11-intrinsic features such as one-time permissions, chat bubbles, conversation grouping in the notification area, integrated media controls within the notification shade, and other security and performance enhancements.
As always, the update will be conducted in phases. If users in Russia haven’t yet received an update notification, they could either head towards the update section to check it manually to wait a bit till they receive the update notification.
