Samsung is now rolling out the June 2021 update to the Galaxy S10 5G. The rollout has already started in Switzerland and will bring the latest security patch as well.

The company has already sent the June 2021 update to several Galaxy smartphones, including Galaxy A52, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and a few more.

Samsung launched this Galaxy S10 5G two years ago with Android 9 Pie-based One UI software. The company then upgraded the device to the Android 10-based One UI 2 update and then upgraded it to an Android 11-based One UI 3 update.

The latest update for the Galaxy S10 5G in Switzerland comes with firmware version G977BXXS8FUE5. The June 2021 security patch brings dozens of fixes from Google and only 19 from Samsung. Nothing more is expected this time for this update.

So for those living in Switzerland, having this smartphone, you may get the update notification soon (if you haven’t already received it yet), or you may manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The company is expected to release the same update for other regions in the coming few days.
