Google has made a decision to stop producing the new tablets, the tablets are not going anywhere near to end industry-wide. Samsung is still very much interested in launching new tablets.
Samsung will launch a new mid-range Samsung Galaxy tab soon after the device has appeared on Geekbench. Samsung wants to keep a good range of low-end and mid-range tablets in its product line in order to capture the bigger chunk of the market.
According to the leaked Geekbench specifications, Samsung’s mid-range tablet will run on Snapdragon 710 processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The model number specified on the listing is SM-T545, however, despite the leaked tests we are not 100% sure about the model and its launch but the odds are in favor.
The details leaked in the listing also confirm that the new tablet will be running on Android 9 Pie out of the box with probably OneUI. The display and battery capacity is not revealed in the benchmark score. The release date of this device could be a few months away because Samsung’s high-end tablet Galaxy Tab S5 is also expected to launch in August coming with Galaxy Note 10. Samsung may not launch a mid-range tablet with these high-end devices.
