Samsung’s Galaxy M32 Could be a Rebranded Model of Galaxy A32

Samsung is working on several Galaxy M series smartphones, including the Galaxy M32, Galaxy M42, and the Galaxy M62 5G, that we know of. While some devices may come as brand new, some are reportedly said to be a rebranded version of some older phone. For instance, this Galaxy M32 could be a revised version of Galaxy A32.

Even when the company re-launch a new device with old specs and a new name, the company contributes to the smartphone business and is generating high revenue. Just recently, we heard that Samsung shipped 29.2% higher smartphones in the first quarter of 2021 than Q1 of 2020. Well done, @Samsung.

Coming back to the main topic – the Galaxy 32 – This smartphone (model number SM-M325F) recently made an appearance on Geekbench and from there we have learned a little about this smartphone.

This Galaxy phone will run Android 11 (probably One UI 3.1) out of the box, use the MediaTek G80 processor (MT6769V), and have RAM of up to 6GB. Now, these specifications are all similar to what we already have – the Galaxy A32 4G. This A32 4G was launched not long ago. However, we still expect some differences, especially after knowing that the new Galaxy M32 has a powerful battery of 6,000mAh, while that on the Galaxy A32 4G is a healthy 5,000mAh.

What we expect from the Galaxy M32?

We believe that this phone could have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Then it may come in two variants: (1) 6GB RAM + 63GB storage (2) 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The phone offers a microSD card slot, which means you could extend storage if you ust.

Coming to the camera, we have a solid 20MP selfie camera with Full HD video recording. And at the back, there’s room for a quad-camera setup (64MP+8MP+5MP+5MP) with the ability to record 1080p 30fps videos.

Other goodies onboarded include GPS, LTE, dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. After viewing it on Geekbench, we have speculation that this Samsung smartphone could come in this quarter, i.e. Q2 of 2021.
