Some fresh new evidence hints towards the Galaxy Ring

With every passing day, the evidence that Samsung is working on a smart ring is growing. Notably, the company’s new product will be efficient at measuring health and fitness metrics. A recent piece of information hints at the forthcoming release of the Galaxy Ring.

The tipster Revegnus recently examined the company’s Galaxy Wearable app. Notably, he discovered a new icon that closely resembles a ring. Such an icon didn’t exist in the app before. So, there is a possibility that the company might be internally working on the new smart ring. Samsung might be testing the new product via the Galaxy Wearable app.

There are not many details about the Galaxy Ring yet. Rumors suggest that it could be worn like any other ring. However, it will be efficient at tracking sleep, workouts, heart rates, and other health and fitness activities. Some reports predict that Samsung will debut the new product early next year along with the flagship Galaxy S24 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event.

There are several smart rings available on the market from the big brands. Samsung has a good chance to enter this market with an innovative product. For it to happen, the ring must have dependable and precise health and fitness tracking capabilities. However, because the smart ring and the smartwatch could perform most of the same functions, the Galaxy Ring may also take some of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch sales. Furthermore, since the Galaxy Ring lacks a screen, GPS, and several other capabilities, it may be less expensive than the Galaxy Watch.
