Samsung could begin the mass production of the Galaxy Ring in August

The rumors around the Samsung Galaxy Ring are heating up. According to what we have learned so far, the company is now working on a new wearable fitness-tracking device. The project was said to be nearing completion last week, so mass production would be the logical next step.

In accordance with recent reports from South Korea, the tech giant Samsung will have its final decision regarding the mass production of the Galaxy Ring next month. Well, a rumor suggests that the company might start the production go Galaxy Ring next month.

The debut of Galaxy Ring may occur early in 2024

According to reports, Samsung and its domestic and foreign component suppliers are nearing agreement on the Galaxy Ring’s final design. Reports suggest that the company has not yet decided on when to begin mass production. After finalizing all the relevant aspects, the final take will be shared with TM Roh, the head of the MX Division. Perhaps then, the official will sign the mass production orders.

In addition to this, the reports indicate that despite beginning the mass production next month the company won’t be able to debut the Galaxy Ring before early next year. Similar to the Galaxy Watch, the Galaxy Ring must receive medical device certification before using its health and fitness tracking functions, and this procedure can take several months.

In accordance with the anticipated timeline, the Galaxy Ring might debut alongside the Galaxy S24 series next year. Nevertheless, it would have been good to have a preview during this week’s Unpacked event. It seems like Samsung lost the chance to generate some buzz for this device. In addition, this was the first Unpacked event hosted in Seoul, South Korea, the location of Samsung’s headquarters.
