T2 social is the latest Twitter competitor offering features similar to twitter along with blue tick legacy

Since Elon Musk has taken over, Twitter has been struggling to stand firmly. Other platforms have presented many competitors against the platform. The latest one on the list is T2 social. This latest app was launched against Twitter and is collecting people on its wait list for now. Many people are getting their names on the list in spite of checking up on the platform by making some posts and getting checkmarks.

The app is currently at its initial stage, but we can see quite a few features that are pretty similar to those of Twitter. Although this doesn’t relate the platform to the Bird app in any way, Behind the launch of this platform is ex-Twitter staff, and for now they are making some amendments to the platform.

This platform is trying to grab Twitter users by offering them what they are lacking on the Twitter platform. They are currently doing it by offering blue subscriptions. Twitter is restraining users that have gained their blue ticks without any paid subscription. This platform is offering them with their blue marks back, but of course on a different platform.

Users who’re not willing to get a paid blue tick subscription can switch to T2 social

For a while, Twitter has been finding ways to keep its revenue in check. For that purpose, it’s putting an end to its subscription-free verification program that was acquirable without subscriptions. Twitter is forcing its users to pay to keep a blue tick on the platform. Twitter has introduced a monthly subscription plan that will let you keep your blue badge along with access to some other features. This step wasn’t pleasant for all users, so they are switching to other platforms.

However, T2 Social is offering a blue badge to users right from creating the account. However, this offer is for a limited time. Many Twitter users are switching to this platform. By opening up a new account at T2 Social, they are able to get a blue badge along with a sign that marks them as Twitter legacy users.

This scheme is clearly geared towards attracting the users whose blue badges are snatched because of the latest policies. However, this offer is restricted to users who are not paying to have a blue tick on their profile. You are needed to fill out the form for confirmation of you being a legacy Twitter user.

Although you are free to join up on this platform, the fact is that it’s almost similar to Twitter, as was clearly stated by the creator of this platform, Gabor Cselle. He further added the statement of hiring some social media experts that will make the platform worthy of being a competitor with Twitter.

However, this is not going to happen overnight. This platform has to make a lot of efforts and amendments to reach that point. It’s also aiming to compete against other platforms like Mastodon and Blue Sky. T2 Social is expected to be given a new name within the next few months.
