Some previous rumors have featured the Phantom V Fold quite a number of times. However, as of now, the company has officially announced its first foldable smartphone i.e., Phantom V Fold at MWS 2023.
When it comes to design, the smartphone has a book style similar to the one presented with Galaxy Z Fold 4, HONOR Magic Vs, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, and some other phones available in the market. The company states that it has utilized several self-developed techs, key partnerships, and innovative design elements to introduce the smartphone.
Coming to other specs the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+. With this SoC, Phantom V Fold is the first ever foldable smartphone to utilize it. Furthermore, the device has support for 5G connectivity. It is presented with two SIM card slots on the inside (2x nano SIM).
Let’s move toward the camera setup of the smartphone, the company claims that the phone is provided with an “ultra-clear 5-lens photography system.” It consists of a 50MP main camera having “a super light-sensitive custom sensor”, in addition to two other back cameras. Among the front-facing cameras, one camera is provided on the main, foldable display, and the other is presented on the cover panel.
