Tesla introduces another accessory: the Tesla Wireless Charging Platform

Anker, iOttie, and Belkin are some of the well-known manufacturers of phone accessories. These companies are known for engineering some of the best accessory items like wireless chargers for various companies. Many companies like Samsung, Oppo, and Google rely on these accessory brands for their smart devices.

In the market, you will come across various wireless chargers. Some of them are even capable of charging more than one electronic device at any given time. Using such chargers, users can instantaneously charge their various devices like smartphones, earbuds, smartwatches, and other accessories items.

Tesla is a well-known company. It is famous for its electric cars. The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, has stated about the Tesla Wireless Charging Platform. It is a unique wireless charger. Since it will be based on the angular and metal design of its EV i.e., Cybertruck.

The latest accessory by Tesla displays an aluminum cover. Its surface is based on Alcantara. Moreover, it companies a removable magnetic stand. Once the stand is detached the charger lies flat on a solid surface. Although the market is packed with wireless chargers, none of them is based on Alcantara’s surface. The most interesting part about the wireless charger by tesla is that it doesn’t consider alignment issues. Since it is based on a tech known as FreeePower. Given this, the user can place their devices anywhere on the surface of the charger and charge their device without any alignment trouble.

Three Qi devices could be charged by Tesla’s wireless charger at the same time. It offers a max speed of around 15W. sadly, the Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch users can’t benefit from Tesla’s wireless charger, since they don’t support Qi charging.

Most expectedly the device will be ready for shipping by February 2023. It will be available at $300, quite a handsome amount for a wireless charger. Where users can locate various wireless chargers in the market that can charge three devices simultaneously at much less prices. Given this device, the users will be paying an additional cost for the Alcantara pad, the premium quality, as well as the brand name.

This is not the first time that Tesla has introduced a non-car accessory item. In the past, various lifestyle accessories have been launched. They are available for sale on Tesla’s website. But bear in mind that they are available at outrageous prices. You can access the Tesla Wireless Charging platform and order your accessory.
