The 4G and 5G versions of Vivo Y36 are now official

Just a few days ago Vivo introduced a new smartphone. Notably, the company has introduced the Vivo Y36 in Indonesia. The new Vivo Y36 is a successor to the Y35. Vivo Y35 was introduced back in August 2022. One of the striking features of the latest smartphone from Vivo is that the company has introduced the device in two different variants i.e., 4G and 5G. However, the company has just listed the 4G version on its official website for Indonesia.

The two variants’ differences are obvious from the chipsets and the colors. Interestingly, the 4G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 680. It comes in two colors i.e., Glitter Aqua and Meteor Black. On the other hand, the Dimensity 6020 by MediaTek powers the 5G variant. It also comes in two color options i.e., Crystal Green and Mystic Black. Besides these general differences, overall features are the same.

Feature specifications of Vivo Y36

The smartphone consists of a 6.64-inch “Ultra O” LCD screen. It offers 1080×2388 resolution. the camera island of the device consists of a 50Mp primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It also includes a 16MP selfie camera. Vivo Y36 supports 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W wired charging. The device comes with Android 13 and Vivo’s Funtouch OS 13. The dimensions of Vivo Y36 are 164.06 x 76.17 x 8.07 mm, whereas the device weighs 202g.

The 4G variant of the smartphone is available for IDR 3,399,000. It equals $226 or €211 given the current exchange rates. There are no details about the price of the 5G variant. Neither is there any information on when the Vivo Y36 gets launched in other markets.
