The appearance of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra causes confusion

Just recently Motorola Razr 40 Ultra surfaced on Geekbench. Its appearance is quite confusing. Because some time ago a tipster named Max Jambor shared that the company would unveil two foldable on June 1. These foldable are codenamed Motorola Razr Pro and Motorola Razr Lite. The Razr Lite was also featured in some recent renders.

Well, all this information is consistent with the information of Evan Blass. Last year, Blass said that the company will introduce two Motorola Razr foldable in 2023. All that was fine. But the appearance of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has created confusion. Is Max Jambor wrong here? Or we are witnessing a third foldable from the company.  Well, if that is so then why the company has used the ‘40’ with this device name? Since it has already announced the Motorola Edge 40 Pro earlier this month. It was not anticipated that the ‘Razr’ foldable lineup would adopt the ’40’ branding for this year’s conventional smartphone lineup.

What is happening, then? Well, one of the future foldable may be sold in certain markets under the trade name Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. At least, that’s what we think. Therefore, it is likely that the Motorola Razr Pro and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra are the same phones.

Geekbench listing indicates that Motorola Razr 40 Ultra scored 1,285 points in the single-core benchmark whereas 3,810 points were secured in the multi-core benchmark. Furthermore, the listing suggests that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This variant will feature 8GB of RAM. The device will come with Android 13 pre-installed.
