The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will soon be available in a new color
Back in October, the tech giant Google debuted the Pixel 8 series in five different colors, including Hazel, Rose, Bay, Porcelain, and Obsidian. According to some recent pieces of information, the company is all set to introduce a new color variant of the series. Accordingly, the Pixel 8 series will soon be available in mint color.
The Google Store showcases a new countdown timer that refers to ‘minty fresh.’ The URL address ends with pixel-mint. From this evidence, we can assume that the new color might be named Mint. Similar to the mint color, the new color option will give a light green appeal. Well, it is just a guess based on the painted image. One thing to notice here is that we have no renders or reports regarding a Mint phone.
The timer is set to expire on January 25, 2024, at around 12:01 AM Pacific Time. Perhaps the device will be available for purchase or pre-order from the above-mentioned date onward. There are no details on whether it will arrive with the same price tag or a different one. The $699/$999 pricing for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will likely carry over to this new Mint design.
It is assumed that there will be no modifications to the specs and features of the upcoming new color variants of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. This will most likely be a means of revitalizing the Pixel 8 lineup and persuading those who might have passed because they didn’t find a color that appealed to them to purchase it. The same strategy is adopted by Apple for its iPhone series. Going by the company’s history, we can expect a new color variant of the iPhone 15 in the coming weeks or months.
