The Hub Mode settings for Pixel Tablet are almost ready in Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3

It has been known for a long that Google Pixel Tablet will have support for Hub Mode. Reportedly, the Hub Mode will turn on as soon as it is attached to the base. In this way, it will behave more like a Nest Hub by the company but only when it is not in use. The users will be presented with various customization options as well. As per Mishaal Rahman, the Android expert, QPR2 Beta 3 for the Hub Mode will be presented with a high-class menu in the Settings app.

As per the sources, the menu will only be supported for Pixel tablets and other such devices. It can be spotted just under the Network & internet options. It will enable the users to customize their display screen when the tablet is in docked phase. Users can select the screen saver, reminders, alerts, and other stuff they would like to be updated with via Google Assistant.

In addition to this, the updated settings menu will allow the users to modify lock screen options. Furthermore, there is an option ‘What to use.’ It enables the users to set up Cast options. It could be interesting to note here that some rumors have claimed that Pixel Tablet could even function as a Casting target for several media apps.

In May 2023, the company will introduce the Pixel tablet. It will be launched during the Google I/O. Where Google I/O is the annual developer conference of the company. It is anticipated that the company will make several other announcements. Given this information, we can expect that the company finishes the work on the software by then. While on the other hand, the Android 13 QPR2 is scheduled for release in March 2023. So, we can assume that the Pixel tablet might come pre-installed with the software.
