The iPhone 15 Ultra won’t be released this year.
This year, there has been a lot of discussion about the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s probable name change. Many people believed it was reasonable to change the name of the Pro Max model to “Ultra” to bring it in line with the Apple Watch given the numerous enhancements that it is receiving. But that’s not the case, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
Gurman posted a few details about the new iPhone 15 on Thursday, along with his predictions for Apple’s announcement on Tuesday. He added that it will be the iPhone 15 Pro Max, not the Ultra, as some have assumed.
Much of what Gurman said here is what we already knew due to leaks. The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are therefore coming. with displays that are 6.1 and 6.7 inches. The Pro series will switch to titanium, which will strengthen the phone. Additionally, he points out that the brushed-looking titanium will take the place of the fingerprint-prone steel that has been utilized on the Pro models since the iPhone X. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro is 10% lighter thanks to titanium. The glass with the frosted back will continue to exist. However, the edges won’t be as sharp as they are now since they will be chamfered.
Apple is phasing out its leather cases as part of an environmental initiative
Apple and several other businesses have recently made decisions with the environment in mind. And it appears that Apple will stop making leather cases this year. Although we have been hearing this for the past few weeks, considering Gurman’s past performance, it is probably now true.
Remember that Apple’s leather cases for the past few years have been rather poor. But fear not, companies like Bullstrap and Nomad will keep providing their leather iPhone cases. Gurman also mentions that the iPhone 15 will soon be available in new colors. For the non-Pro models, that includes pink, black, white, blue, and yellow. While grey, black, dark blue, and white will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro variants. Basically, the hues we have been experiencing lately.
