The latest high-end gaming monitors from Nubia utilize Samsung QD-OLED panels

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia has introduced two new gaming monitors in its hometown today. Apparently, the devices in discussion here are the RedMagic Realm 49-inch QD-OLED Gaming Monitor and the RedMagic Realm 34-inch QD-OLED Gaming Monitor. Reportedly, both monitors are based on Samsung’s QD-OLED panels. Well, the recently introduced monitors by Nubia make it the third company and four monitors in total that are actually non-Samsung gaming monitors. Previously, ASUS and Alienware have introduced ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD and AW3423DWF, respectively. On the other hand, Samsung’s gaming monitor catalog includes the Odyssey OELD G9 and S49CG934SN.

Features of the 49″ RedMagic Realm

It features a 49-inch QD-OLED panel. The panel has a 32:9 aspect ratio, 5,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution, and a 240Hz refresh rate. Other features of the panel are 0.03ms GTG response time and 1800R curvature. According to the company, it offers 400 nits of standard brightness and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The gaming monitor has HDR10 support. It is also compatible with the Nvidia G-Sync. Moreover, it has been certified for the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and AMD FreeSync.

The connectivity features of the 49″ Red Magic Realm include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one USB Type-C port with 90W power output (utilizes USB PD), one DisplayPort 1.4, and one 3.5mm audio jack. The monitor showcases two 5W speakers in a stereo configuration. It comes with RGB lights on the back. Moreover, it has a cable management hook that makes the desktop setup free from wires mess.

Features of the 34-inch RedMagic realm

As the name indicates it is a 34-inch QD-OLED panel. It features a 175Hz refresh rate, a 3,440 x 1,440 pixels resolution, and 1800R curvature. Like the bigger model, it also features 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It is certified for the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. There is no information regarding the response time and connectivity options of the 34-inch model. The company has not shared any details about the pricing and availability of the two monitors.
