The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 are purportedly built with the same architecture

In the past, we learned that the OnePlus Ace 3V will be fueled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. As of now, some fresh details indicate something different. According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip (SM7675). Interestingly, this chipset showcases the same core architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

It comes with the Cortex-X4 large core clocked at 2.8GHz. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, on the other hand, comes with 1+3+4 configuration. Three performance cores run at 2.4 GHz, four efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz, and the main core operates at up to 2.63 GHz. It is believed that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V is a mid-range smartphone.

Reportedly, the smartphone will feature a high-resolution 1.5K 8T LTPO screen. It will be powered by a large 5,500mAh battery. This means that battery life and display quality are given top priority, further enhancing the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3’s profile as a flexible processor that can accommodate a wide range of user demands.

In addition to this, it was assumed that the SM7675 and SM8635 chips by Qualcomm will be unveiled in March. According to industry insiders, these chips are basically different frequency versions of the same chipset. These chips are under development with codename ‘Cliffs.’ Both chips are reported to feature the same core architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. We can expect exceptional performance and efficiency with these chips.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is a high standard chipset that is based on a 4nm processor and 1+5+2 CPU architecture. It combines large and small cores and a powerful GPU. It offers exceptional performance with improved power consumption that extends battery life. Users can anticipate improved performance and battery efficiency with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. The new chipset is equipped with cutting-edge technology and greater capabilities. It is a nice addition to Qualcomm chips lineup.
