The Upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro Series will Run HarmonyOS 2.0

We already know that Huawei is soon releasing the new Huawei MatePad Pro in two variants. The company is expected to release the device this month, i.e., June 2021. Both will run the new HarmonyOS 2.0. Previously, we shared some information related to this tablet. Today we bring some more exciting news. So, let’s get started.

We already discussed that there would be two variants. The one with the 12.6-inch screen will adopt a non-porous full-screen. The front camera will be located in the middle frame. At the back, we get a matrix-style three-camera design. And it will run on the HarmonyOS 2.0.

We also learned that this 12.6-inch version of the MatePad Pro would feature Samsung’s 2K 120Hz screen and powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000 series chips. Moreover, we also learned that the WiFi version of the tablet will sport a Kirin 9000E processor, while the 5G version will feature a Kirin 9000 processor. These Huawei tablets will also include the new HUAWEI M-Pencil second-generation stylus.

According to a source, the Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8-inch version will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 56GB storage.

This 10.8-inch model will come with an IPS screen, a resolution of 2560*1600, a DCI-P3 color gamut display, a maximum 540nit brightness, and a 90% screen-to-body ratio.

The rear side upholds two vertically arranged cameras of 13MP resolution, while the front camera will have an 8MP sensor. The tablet will have an integrated magnetic support keyboard. This tablet will also run on HarmonyOS 2.0.
