According to some recent pieces of information, the Google Clock app is set to receive several new useful features. Reportedly, the Google Clock app is considered one of the best alarm clocks for Android. This information comes from @Nail_Sadykov and Mishaal Rahman. The new updates are available with Version 7.6 of the Google Clock app. The new version accompanies four new modifications.
According to the information, the modifications include an alarm sync option, the ability to change temperature units, a centered home clock, and a weather forecast button. While setting the alarm, users can either turn on or turn off the weather forecasts. If the feature is turned on, users will get access to weather details for the day once the alarm is turned off.
The new version of the app includes a new option in the settings. This option will help users sync their alarms to other devices, like the Pixel Watch or the Pixel Watch 2. This new option is compatible with Wear OS 3 on the first-gen smartwatch and Wear OS 4 on the second-gen device.
In addition to this, temperature units can also be changed according to preference. According to Mishaal Rahman, this feature takes users to the regional preferences page of Android 14. With the new update, the home clock now appears in the center rather than the left-aligned position. The new version of the app is now rolling out. Currently, the app is updated on Pixel devices that have the default Pixel Weather app. It comes with the Android 14 QPR1 beta.
