The Windows app now displays the new Quick Share logo
It appears that Samsung has made updates to its Windows Quick Share software. The Windows platform now has an improved logo thanks to the most recent program release. A few weeks ago, Google and Samsung combined their own wireless file-sharing solution for Android, and they revealed the same logo.
There is a new Quick Share logo for the Windows app
For Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines, the updated Quick Share app is now available on the Microsoft Store via johnmgbg. Installing it on your Galaxy Book laptop or any other PC with an Intel Bluetooth and Wi-Fi card is now possible. After merging two file-sharing platforms, Nearby Share and Quick Share, Google and Samsung presented a new logo for Quick Share around CES 2024 expo.
In case you were unaware, Samsung’s Quick Share function was a proprietary technology that allowed for wireless file sharing. It was incompatible with Google’s Nearby Share feature, although it functioned faster and more flawlessly than Google’s Nearby Share functionality. Google and Samsung collaborated to combine their file-sharing systems into Quick Share because users were having trouble deciding which one to use. Now, it is compatible with all Android tablets and smartphones. It is also compatible with all laptops and PCs running Chrome OS.
There are now two Quick Share applications available for Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines. Therefore, it’s probable that soon, both apps will be combined into one. It still has to be observed if Google or Samsung will maintain the merged Quick Share app.
