The YouTube Music app for iOS has been slightly redesigned

YoutubeMusic

Google began testing a revised overflow menu for YouTube Music’s iOS Now Playing page in October 2023. As per information via 9to5Google, the business has now begun making it available to the general public.

Google has made numerous additions to the YouTube Music overflow menu on the Now Playing page in recent years. YouTube Music has made its platform far better with every new update. With the addition of a new sidebar for navigation and quick access to all your playlists, the most recent update to YouTube Music on the web pays homage to Play Music. This resulted in a congested menu and made some of the sheet’s most crucial options more difficult to locate.

Google began testing a revised overflow menu with three sizable buttons for Play next, Save to playlist, and Share at the top of the sheet for iOS in October 2023 in an attempt to address the issue. These are some of the most often used features; making them stand out with larger buttons facilitates simpler access and more convenient use of the music streaming software than it was previously.

Now that nearly three months have passed, the business is broadly implementing the redesign. It is important to note that Google is limiting the release of the update to iOS users. As of yet, the company has not released it on Android. The iOS YouTube Music app, version 6.34, has the new feature. In the next days, Google is expected to release the updated overflow menu for the Android YouTube Music app.
