Twitter for Android now allows you to switch between tab preferences

Hashtags

Android users can totally ignore the “For you” feature if they want to. The app can allow you to continue using the previous preferences you were using. You are able to use the following tab preference at any time you want. This change in the application was first introduced to the web client.

Twitter for Android should make it easier to ignore the “for you” tab

The same was true prior to the previous update. There were two available tabs on the top of your timeline. After that, there were some platform changes that caused the app to revert to the “for you” tab every time you closed it.

As per reviews, customers weren’t that satisfied with the change. The situation was noticed by Elon Musk, and the announcement for changes was made immediately. It took some time, but it’s finally here.

You can simply choose and use the tab of your choice. Even after you close the app, on returning, it will open up with the same tab you were using. You don’t need to change it again and again. Even if you keep switching between the apps, it will not affect the tab settings.

“For You” tab will be available on the top

The “For You” tab will appear at the top of your timeline, and you can use it as you see fit.The following tab on Twitter was hidden behind a star icon and was known to a few users. The platform has shifted both of these tabs to the top of your timeline in the current update.

UI reshuffling allows you to combine a list of your own, and it will be available there. Although you can’t switch between them as easily, you can still make any of them your default in your settings.

As per information from Twitter, we are able to move these lists around. You don’t need to be at the top of the list anymore. However, you are able to move around the whole list.

You need the latest version of the application to get this feature.
