Twitter Inc. no longer exists; it is now known as X Corp

Elon Musk aims to make Twitter an ‘everything app’ just like the Chinese WeChat app. Given this fact, the X Corp owned by Musk has captivated Twitter Inc. ell, this is evident as we have observed the growth of the platform from micro-blog to everything else. Several corporate proprietorship decisions have discontinued the existence of Twitter Inc. at least in the name.

As per the latest information from Slate, on April 4, X Corp and Twitter Inc. were merged. The above-mentioned information was unveiled in court documents from a continued court case between Twitter and Laura Loomer. The legal dispute at hand is a case in which Loomer accuses Twitter of breaking federal racketeering rules when her account was suspended in 2019. The court documents that were made available to the public are interesting. “Twitter, Inc. has been merged into X Corp. and no longer exists,” the petition said.

Elon Musk has taken the first step with this merger, even if it hasn’t been officially disclosed and probably won’t have an immediate impact on the app or service. He had earlier predicted that Twitter will develop into the “everything app,” or X and that it would compete with other services like China’s WeChat. Nothing indicates that the X Corp. will in fact result in the X app. According to the reports, this could be an effort to give a larger parent firm called X control of all of Musk’s ventures, including Tesla and Space X.

Furthermore, it suggests that Twitter under X Corp is now based in Nevada instead of Delaware. Well, all the lawsuits and debts of Twitter will be transferred to the new X Corp. However, Twitter is still operating as a social media platform. It has not ended the controversies like who is allowed, banned, or what type of content can be posted.
