Vivo X60T Pro+ Soon to Come with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888

Vivo released three new devices in the Vivo X60 series in 2020 in China. The three devices were dubber as – the Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+. A few months later, the company released them globally but with the Snapdragon chipsets. Last month, we saw another member of this family, the Vivo X60 Curved Edition. And now we are receiving the Vivo X60T Pro+.

According to our source, the Vivo X60T Pro+ would come with a 6.56″ Full HD+ E3 Curved AMOLED display with 2,376 x 1,080 pixels of resolution, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and a 120 Hz refresh rate panel with HDR10+ certification. The display brings an in-display fingerprint scanner and a centered punch-hole.

Talking about its camera, we expect to see a quad-camera setup with an LED flash. The primary camera on this smartphone would be a 50 MP unit, a Samsung GN1 sensor with a large f/1.57 aperture. The primary camera would be supported with a 48 MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide-angle camera with a 114.5-degree field of view, an 8 MP periscope lens with an f/3.4 aperture, and 5x optical zoom, and a 12 MP portrait sensor. On the front, we would have a 32 MP shooter with an f/2.45 aperture for video calls.

Under the hood, the Vivo X60T pro+ would bring an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which is made on a 5 nm fabrication process. It will also feature an integrated Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphone would come in have at least two variants: 8GB + 128GB AND 12GB + 256GB. The device would run Android 11 based on OriginOS 1.0.

The whole unit will get its power from a 4,200mAh battery that supports 55 W fast-charging. This smartphone would come with a USB Type-C charging port

Other notable features on this smartphone include Dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and GLONASS. The handset measures 158.59 x 73.35 x 9.10 mm and weighs around 190 grams.

For the base variant (8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage), the retail price would be RMB 4,999 (~$775). While for the higher-end mode (12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage) the price would be RMB 5,999 ($930).
