Google already offers the feature of voice shopping in Costco Wholesale and Target. Now Walmart partnering with Google would provide the biggest collection of voice shopping compared to any retailer selling via Google assistant.

Also, offers have already popped up along with this new feature. Google has made an announcement to remove membership and shipping fees if a customer orders up to $35 in Walmart’s scenario.

Lore wrote “It makes sense for us to team up with Google. They’ve made significant investments in natural language processing and artificial intelligence to deliver a powerful voice shopping experience.”

This collaboration open doors for Walmart to offer services like Amazon delivers along with creating an online grocery system for its customers. Walmart is also going to launch on Google Express by next month.

The benefit of online voice shopping is that customers can reuse their shopping list specifically for everyday used household items. So Walmart integrated its Easy Reorder feature in the Google Express.

Also, Lore has hinted that the partnership with Google would offer more services by 2018 like retrieving an order placed online on a store a service not yet part of voice shopping.
