WhatsApp is going to introduce a new text editor
In the past few days, we have come across news that indicated that WhatsApp is working on the development of a new feature i.e., mute spam calls. Just after this, another piece of information indicated that the company is developing a self-destructive group feature. Fresh reports suggest that the company is now going to introduce another feature namely a text editor for WhatsApp.
As per information from WABetaInfo, the new feature is in the testing phase. It is being tested on the recent WhatsApp iOS beta v23.5.0.72. Given this new feature, users will now be able to design their images with new fonts and other editing tools. New fonts could be changed instantly from the font options presented on the top of the keyboard.
Some reports indicate that several new fonts will be introduced to the WhatsApp text editor like Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze. Thus, improving the drawing experiences of the users. besides this, users will be able to modify the alignment [right, left, center] of the text in images, videos, and GIFs. Changing the background color will also be a part of this update.
The new feature is currently under development. Usually, the company introduces the features of the iOS version of the app for the Android version. However, currently, there is no information about when this feature will be rolled out for Android users.
