WhatsApp is introducing a timeline for your messages. Now your messages will expire within the next 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.
A few weeks ago (or months), WhatsApp announced the “view once” feature. The disappearing feature allowed readers to view once (photos and videos). It was a good feature, especially when you do not want readers to save the image or video for a long time.
The tech giant is now introducing another feature where you can set an expiry time for your messages. You will have three options – 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days – to set an expiry time for your messages.
This new feature is currently in the beta phase. Once the company gets positive feedback from its users, the company would roll it out to the masses around the world.
