WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow you to comment on a document before sharing it with one of your contacts. As you can see in the screenshot that we leave below these lines, when this new function is available, when sharing a document through WhatsApp you will be able to add a comment to locate it more easily later. As you can see, the new interface that appears when sharing a document is the same as the one up to now with the exception that it has included a text field at the bottom in which you can write a comment that will appear at the bottom of the document.
This functionality is currently in development in the beta version of the WhatsApp desktop app but the messaging platform plans to introduce it too in Android and iOS Beta versions in a future update.
