Will POCO M4 Pro 5G Come with MediaTek Dimensity 700 or Dimensity 810?

POCO is working on a smartphone; the M4 Pro 5G. The device recently landed on Geekbench, sharing some of its details. But it isn’t clear which chipset this smartphone will bring it on.

We know smartphone makers have to acquire several certificates before they could officially announce a new device. And while going through this process they have to share some insights with the certification websites, which publish those on the web. And hence, we get hold on to such details. Besides these listings sites, we also rely heavily on tipsters and other reports. But today we are a little in doubt when we found a clash of details about the POCO M4 Pro 5G.

Let’s first see what Geekbench shared.

According to the image above, this is a Xiaomi device and the model number is suggesting it would be a POCO smartphone (according to reports). The device will have a single processor with octa cores: 6x2GHz + 2×2.4GHz. Memory is 7.48 GB, i.e. 8GB. This POCO smartphone will run Android 11 out of the box.

That’s all the information we received about the device. We aren’t certain about other details as to its display size, camera features, and the CHIPSET. Researching about this device got us a bit confused. Some sources suggested this POCO smartphone will come the Dimensity 810, while others pushed it back to Dimensity 700. Based on past experiences we believe it would be the former one.

The M4 Pro 5G has also previously landed TENAA and FCC from we got a little more detail. According to TENAA, this device will have at least two variants – 4/64 GB and 8/128 GB. While FCC suggested this model will feature a 6.6-inch HD+ OLED display, 4,900 mAh battery with 33W charging, and a 16 MP camera.
