Windows 10 21H2 is now available, update now for everyone

Microsoft has taken a long-awaited step and has started distribution for Windows 10 21H2, known as the November 2021 Update, to all users. The group will now automatically release the update to anyone who wants to take advantage of it. This phase is the “general deployment” and started on April 15. The official release cycle of the second half-yearly Windows 10 update from 2021 is now complete.

There are basically three steps involved in starting any new version update: starting the distribution, distribution to so-called “searchers” (searchers are those who manually search for the new version through Windows Update), and broad or general distribution. Microsoft has now arrived at the wide distribution. The status was only recently changed by Microsoft. This also means that anyone who is still using an older Windows 10 version can now receive this update. Microsoft is now writing about this on the Support website for the so-called Release Health Status

Current as of April 15, 2022 (PT)

Windows 10, version 21H2 is intended for wide distribution. As always, we recommend that you update your devices to the latest version of Windows 10 as soon as possible to ensure you can take advantage of the latest features and advanced protection against the latest security threats.

For more details see “How to get the Windows 10 November 2021 update If you are using Windows 10 and want to upgrade to Windows 11, you can use the PC Health Check app or Windows 11 specifications, features, and computer requirements to check if your device is eligible for the upgrade. Please note that you can also use Windows 10, version 2004 or later, do not have any protections on your device, and must have a Microsoft account (MSA) if you are using the Home Edition.
