With eight size options, the Samsung Galaxy Ring could launch in July

According to industry reports, the South Korean conglomerate Samsung is ready to unveil its Galaxy Ring later this year in July. With its distinctive form factor and robust feature set, this stylish wearable—which was unannounced during the Galaxy S24 series unveiling—is set to completely transform health tracking. Well, if this information is correct, then we can expect it to arrive alongside the new versions of Galaxy Z foldable smartphones.

Galaxy Ring will have eight different sizes

It is rumored that the Galaxy Ring will have several advanced features like electrocardiogram and blood flow measurements. It might be equipped with other features like smart home device control and contactless payments. If this happens, then this upcoming device could act as an alternative to smartwatches.

When it comes to smart ring market, Samsung is not the only player. As per reports, Apple is also working on a similar product. The company has filed several patents in the past. We can anticipate the launch of Apple Ring in the near future. The global smart ring industry, which is expected to reach a staggering $197 million by 2031, is expected to be ignited by this intense competition.

According to reports, the Galaxy Ring will be available in eight different sizes. It means that it will be a good fit for a wide range of consumers. Currently, it is in prototype stage. Reportedly, the mass production of the Galaxy Ring will begin in the second quarter of this year. Samsung is placing its bets on the ring’s long-wearability and simple physical factor to reshape the healthcare wearables industry. According to industry experts, smart ring market has significant chances of growth in North America and Asia-Pacific regions. Currently, the top spot in the smart ring market is held by Oura with its Oura Ring.
