With their unique designs, the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro are now official

Honor has just unveiled the Honor 100 series. The series consists of two members: Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro. Let us take a quick look at the features and specifications of the Honor 100 series. With their circular displays and eye-catching textures or patterns on the rear, depending on the model, these devices offer a very striking appearance.

Both models feature a 120Hz AMOLED display. However, the Pro model features a 6-78-inch display that reaches a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The top model of the series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset; however, the base model carries the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. The company has used the remaining units of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Pro model. Given that it is among the least expensive smartphones equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship SoC from the previous year.

The 50 MP selfie camera on both smartphones is capable of 4K video recording. There is a second camera on the front of the Honor 100 Pro, although Honor doesn’t say anything about it. The Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro feature a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX906) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. An additional 32MP telephoto camera with OIS support can be found on the Pro version. Both models come with MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13. They pack a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged up to 100W through the USB-C. The Pro variant features 66W wireless charging as well.

Price and availability

With 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the Honor 100 is being released in China for 2499 yuan, or roughly USD 350. The top model with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage costs 4399 yuan (USD 620), while the Honor 100 Pro with the same memory configuration is priced at 3399 yuan (USD 480).
